Minister for Finance Barshaman Pun has said that the government is planning to allocate Rs. 14 billion to the agriculture sector in the coming fiscal year to increase investment in this sector for economic growth.
Addressing the programme organised on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC) on Wednesday, Pun also said that the agriculture sector should be commercialised, RSS reports.
The government has allocated Rs. 12 billion in this sector for the current fiscal year budget. nepalnews.com
