The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has urged bandh (shutdown shutdown strike) organisers to change form of their protest being carried out to raise their demands.
Though protests launched by various ethnic groups are natural in democratic process, shutdown is not appropriate way, the FNCCI said.
At the same time, the Federation also expressed concern over the rights of people to regularly run their business.
"Due to the shutdown, the country has beenĀ bearing loss worth billions of rupees in daily which directly affects the national economy," said FNCCI in a statement.
The business apex body has also urged the government to maintain favourable environment to run the business in the country as continuous shutdown has adversely affected this sector. Nepalnews.com
