NYEF gets new Executive Committee

The Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF) elected its new Executive Committee (EC) through its 5th Annual General Meeting (AMG) held here in the capital on Saturday.

Immediate Past President Anuj Shrestha swore in the new Executive Committee members.

The new Committee is formed under the leadership of Ajay Pradhanang, Director of Fluer Himalaya Pvt. including Samir Thapa (Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management), Mangesh Lal Shrestha (CAS Trading House), Niranjan Shrestha (Sujal Foods and President of NYEF Pokhara Chapter), Anish Kabra (Home Care Products), Mr. Varun Lohia (Aarti Soap and Chemical Industries), Udeep Shrestha (Panchakanya Group), and Melee Shrestha (Soft Age Nepal).

The meeting also decided to amend the NYEF constitution and restructure the organisation into a corporate form whereby the operations will be handled by the directorate led by Alok Tumbahangphey and the EC will be converted into a Board.

The NYEF is a platform of young Nepali entrepreneurs working to encourage positive business thinking and to help would be entrepreneurs become successful through business networking and linkages, said the NYEF Directorate in a statement.

The organisation conducts events such as the biannual Made in Nepal exhibition and national and regional Young Entrepreneurs’ Summit. Nepalnews.com
