A six-member delegation of Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal (FCAN) on Wednesday left for South Korea to sign memorandum of understanding (MoU) to attract Korean investment in the country’s construction sector along with bringing new technologies.

The MoU will be signed between FCAN president Jayram Lamichhane and International Construction Association of Korea (ICAK) president Choi Jae Duck for the exchange of technological support along with boosting mutual cooperation between the two parties amidst a function in Seoul on Thursday.

The MoU is expected to be helpful in attracting Korean investment in Nepal’s infrastructure, said Lamichhane.

Similarly, the delegation is also set to participate in the 36th Mid-term Executive Board Meeting of International Federation of Asian & Western Pacific Contractors' Associations (IFAWPCA) scheduled to be held in Jeju Island, South Korea from May 18 to 19.

The meeting of FAWPCA will also dwell on the 40th FAWPCA Conclave scheduled to be held in India from January 6 to 9, 2013. nepalnews.com
