The gold price set a new record high of Rs. 56,950 per tola (11.644 gm) in the domestic market on Wednesday, breaking previous record of Rs. 56,900 per tola on Wednesday last week.
The price of the precious yellow metal has increased by Rs. 300 per tola from Rs. 56,650 per tola on Tuesday to set new historical record high today.
Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs. 10 per tola to Rs. 1055 per tola today.
The price of gold has shot up in the domestic market following the rise in price in the international market due to increasing dollar value in the international market. nepalnews.com
