The price of gold crossed over Rs. 57,000 per tola (11.644 gm) to set the new record in the domestic market on Thursday.
The precious yellow metal was sold up to Rs. 57,250 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday while it was priced at Rs. 56,950 per tola on Wednesday, this week.
According to Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (NGSDA), the gold price set the historical record high of Rs. 49,040 per 10 gm in the domestic market following the price in the international market due to increase in the US dollar rates. nepalnews.com
