The price of gold increased by Rs. 699 per tola (11.664 gm) to set new record of Rs. 61,760 per tola on Friday, the last trading day this week.
The gold price was Rs. 61,177 per tola on Monday. The precious metal was traded at Rs. 61,061 per tola on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
