A Nepali delegation led by commerce and supplies minister Rajendra Mahato has reached Geneva, Switzerland to attend the 7th ministerial conference of World Trade Organisation (WTO) to be held from November 30 to December 2.
Nepal’s permanent envoy to UN offices in Geneva Dinesh Bhattarai received minister Mahato and members of his delegation. The delegation includes National Planning Commission (NPC) members, senior government employees and representatives of private sector.
In Geneva, minister Mahato will address the WTO conference and attend Least Developed Countries (LDC)s ministerial meetings and a meeting of trade ministers of SAARC.
Minister Mahato will also meet his Indian counterpart Anand Sharma on the sidelines of the WTO conference. Nepalnews.com
