Police on Wednesday arrested five persons including two Chinese nationals for trying to illegally sneak out a large amount US dollars to Khasa, a Chinese border town, from Nepal.
A team from Area Police Office, Barhabise, found three Nepalis and two Chinese travelling with US $ 270,162 during a regular checking of the vehicle they were travelling in this morning at 10 am.
The identity of those arrested could not be immediately ascertained.
The seized US dollars will be handed to the Investigation Department, police said. nepalnews.com
