Nepali Congress president Sushil Koirala Saturday launched a more outspoken broadside against the Maoists, saying the former rebels cannot be trusted anymore and that it won't make any difference to his party if they return to the jungle.
Addressing a programme organised by Solukhumbu-Kathmandu Samparka Samiti in the capital, Koirala said, "If they continue to keep the peace process and constitution-drafting on hold, we won't be bothered even if they choose to return to the jungles."
The NC president also said that the Maoists tried to take advantage from the political agreements reached in the past while they "never delivered on their commitments".
"The Maoists cannot be trusted anymore," added he. nepalnews.com
