The government has decided to continue providing Rs 100,000 to couples entering into inter-caste union.
A cabinet meeting Tuesday took a decision to this effect to encourage marriage between Dalit and non-Dalit couples.
The cabinet also appointed Abdul Rahim Mikrani of Malangawa, Sarlahi district as a member of the National Planning Commission.
Meanwhile, the government also decided not to cut down public holidays and instead added one more public holiday for Mahabir Jayanti for the follower of Jainism. nepalnews.com
