Top leaders of the three major parties, UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and UML, have gathered at the luxurious Gorkhana Forest Resort in a crucial meeting to find a way out of the current political deadlock.
The meeting is to dwell on the continuing obstruction of the parliament by the opposition parties over the government's controversial decision to legalise the war-era land transactions and issues related to the peace process including the controversy over the snatching of paycheques from the voluntarily retiring combatants by their commanders.
Ahead of the meeting, leaders said they would hold decisive talks to iron out the differences. nepalnews.com
