Nepal's national football team are up for a crucial showdown with the Maldives in the second match of the AFC Challenge Cup to be played at Dashrath Stadium at 17:00 Saturday.
Today's match is going to be very crucial for Nepal as it will decide whether the team will stay in the tournament. They had lost to Palestine 2-0 in the first match on Thursday. The Maldives are almost in the same position as Nepal given their 3-0 defeat with Turkmenistan in their first match played at APF stadium, Halchowk.
Last time the two South Asian teams had faced each other was in SAFF Championship held in New Delhi two months ago, playing 1-1 draw. nepalnews.com
