Four people died and five others were injured when a bus carrying a marriage procession met with an accident at Kaphali of Doti district on Thursday.

Police have identified the deceased as Gore Dhuli, 55, and Palsingh Khadka, 50  of Durgamandau-5, Siddha Kathayat, 14, of Ranagaun-6 and Amar Bam, 22, of Satfari VDC.

The bride and groom are among the five injured who are receiving medical care at Sujhang Hospital.

The bus carrying wedding participants was returning having the ceremony been over when it turned turtle at Kaphali.

Although the details are still sketchy, but it is learnt that the bus was carrying passengers beyond its capacity. nepalnews.com
