The major parties UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and UML along with the Madhesi Front Friday agreed to announce the national unity cabinet on Saturday.

Senior leaders of the UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, UML and Madhesi Front meet at Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai's...A meeting of the four parties held at Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai's residence in Baluwatar reached a 'tentative' agreement to expand the cabinet on Saturday. Speaking after the meeting, NC secretary Krishna Prasad Sitauala said his party was still in discussion on its ministerial list, but it would submit the names by Saturday evening.

UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal also said his party could not submit list of its ministers as the party's central committee was yet to conclude.

Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Prime Minister Bhattarai, Maoist vice chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha, NC president Sushil Koirala, senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba, parliamentary party leader Ram Chandra Poudel, UML leader Nepal and general secretary Ishwor Pokharel and Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar and Mahanta Thakur were present in the meeting.

All the ministers in the Maoist-Madhesi government resigned en masse Thursday midnight following the agreement to form the national unity government headed by Bhattarai. nepalnews.com
