The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) Wednesday published the results of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exams held from March 20-29 this year.

According to the OCE, 47.16 percent students have passed the exams under regular category which is 8.34 percent less than the pass rate of last year. Similarly, 13.7 percent students have passed the exams under the exempted category this year.

A total of 17,760 students have achieved distinction, 77,257 students got first division, 93,830 second division and rest 8791 passed in the third division, according to the OCE.

A total of 445,974 students had appeared for the exams under regular category and 82,283 students under exempted category.

The results can be obtained by sending SMS to 5225 after typing the symbol number. Similarly, the results can be also viewed at www.moe.gov.np, www.doe.gov.np and www.slcresult.soce.gov.np.
