At least 15 persons were killed in a bus accident in Arghakhanchi district on Sunday. The bus (Ba 2 Kha 7984) en route to Sandhikharka from Butwal skidded off the road and fell off the cliff at Dahakhola in Narpani VDC of the district, police said.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer Bhesh Raj Khanal, the death toll may rise as some injured passengers are in critical condition.

So far, the identities of five persons have been ascertained- bus driver Rajendra Chaudhary, Krishna Chaudhary of Kapilvastu, bus owner Narayan Panthi of Banke, Meghraj Khanal of Kerunga VDC and Sita Bhusal of Wangla VDC of Arghakhanchi.

At least five persons have been injured in the incident.

The injured passengers have been rushed to the district hospital in Sandhikharka for treatment. nepalnews.com
