The government reshuffled the responsibilities of secretaries at different ministries and departments on Wednesday.

A cabinet meeting in the evening took the decision to reshuffle their responsibility.

As per the decision, secretary of Forest Ministry Nabin Ghimire has been transferred to Home Ministry, Surya Silwal has been transferred to Ministry of Information and Communication, Gyan Darshan Udas to Election Commission, Nathu Prasad Chaudhary to Public Service Commission, Ganesh Raj Joshi to Ministry of Agriculture and Dhan Bahadur Tamang has been transferred to Public Procurement Monitoring Department.

Similarly, Yagya Gautam has been transferred to Ministry of Tourism, Durga Nidhi to Sharma General Administration, Dharanidhar Khatiwada and Madhav Regmi to Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Tilak Ram Sharma to Defence Ministry and Krishna Chandra Paudel to Forest Ministry.

Similarly, the cabinet also gave the responsibility to five senior secretaries as ex officio secretaries. They are: Hari Dahal to regional secretary for far west, Narayan Gopal Malego to western region, Shree Ranjan Lakaul to mid western region, Rana Bahadur Shrestha to eastern region and Ramesh Raj Bishta to central region. nepalnews.com
