An eight years old boy was hacked to death and his 10 years old sister was seriously injured in Tikapur-8 in Dhangadi Monday morning.

Tapendra Singh, 8, was found dead with a severe wound in his neck inflicted by sharp weapon and his sister Syaran Singh
was found critically injured with wound in the neck, according to Dhangadi police.

The police said both of them were attacked when there was no one in the house.

The police said search for those culprits is underway, but the motive of the crime is yet to be known.

According to their neighbours, the children were living with their step mother Hira Singh whom their father Dilip Singh married after the first wife eloped two years ago. Dilip works in Dubai. nepalnews.com
