A ropeway service has come into operation at Lapa VDC in Dhading district. The service is expected to be an effective means for the transportation of goods to and from the village which has not been connected with the road network, according to RSS.
The service was brought into operation with the financial support from the British Kaduri Agriculture Association, said one Ram Bahadur Tamang of Lapa-8.
The ropeway is 4,100 meters in length and it has been installed with the help of three stations in different places, it is learnt. nepalnews.com
