Two teenagers have died when the scooter they were riding on met with an accident in Bhadrapur on Monday night.
The deceased have been identified as Abhishekh Acharya, 17, and Sajan Subba of Anarmani-3, police said. Both Acharya and Subba were critically injured in the accident.
While Subba died receiving treatment at a hospital in Birtamod, Acharya died while being rushed to Silugudi in India for treatment.
The accident occurred when the scooter (Me 3 Pa 9352) heading to Shanischare from Arujundhara collided with a tree at Arjundhara-8.
Police suspect that excessive speed coupled with poor lighting in the street could have led to the accident. nepalnews.com
