The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the parliament Thursday formed a sub-Committee to look into the details of investments made so far in the construction of the fast track linking Kathmandu to Nijgadh of Bara district.
The PAC meeting chaired by committee chairman Ram Krishna Yadav at Singha Dubar formed the five-member sub committee led by lawmaker and UML leader Rabindra Adikari.
The sub-committee has been assigned to investigate details of the expenditure made in the under- construction fast track and to submit report to the PAC. The PAC formed the probe panel following media reports that there have been irregularities in the fast track construction involving the Nepal Army. nepalnews.com
