Former King Gyanendra Shah reached Dhangadhi Thursday afternoon as part of his four-day "religious trip" to far-western region.
Gyanendra, who landed at Dhangadhi airport at 12:15 pm, was escorted by a motorcycle rally to Rubus Hotel where he is staying.
His supporters also chanted slogans, demanding revival of monarchy and suggesting him to become active in politics.
The ex-monarch is scheduled to visit different religious sites in far-western region, it is learnt. He is to visit Naina Devi temple and attend the Bhagvat Mahayagya on Saturday and visit Ghodaghodi temple the other day.
During his stay in the far western region, Gyanendra is also scheduled to meet his well-wishers. nepalnews.com
