Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) has supported government decision to hold fresh election of the Constituent Assembly (CA) after the CA was dissolved without promulgating new constitution.

"All the political parties should accept the fresh elections," said NEFIN issuing a press release on Tuesday. The NEFIN also demanded that Interim Constitution should be amended by holding all party conference to pave the way for the election.

"All the political decisions should be taken through all party conference," the NEFIN said.

Saying that the major political parties were responsible for the failure to promulgate new constitution, the NEFIN also announced protest programmes that include extensive meetings of various organisations affiliated to the indigenous nationalities organisations, demonstrations, publicity, torch rally and national political conference.
