A leopard leaped into a house in Dharna village, about 10 kilometers south of Dang headquarters Ghorahi, injuring a child and causing panic in a family.
The leopard that leaped into the house of Nim Bahadur Chaudhari at around 5.00 am on Wednesday attacked Chaudhari's 12 years old son Baldev.
After evacuating the house, the villagers had informed District Forest Office about the incident.
The District Forest Office said emergency rescue in such incidents was difficult in the district due to the lack of equipment and trained human resources.
Meanwhile, the officials have released the leopard in Banke National Park. nepalnews.com
