A health camp has been set up on the way to Gosiankunda aimed at providing primary health services to the pilgrims visiting there.

Dr Ramesh Kharel, Chief of the District Health Office, told RSS such health camps are to be set up at Chandanbari, Lauri Binayak, Cholangpati, Buddha Mandir Danda and Gosiankunda.

He said health workers with required medicines have been dispatched to these areas for conducting the health camps.

The Himalayan Rescue Association has already set up a health camp at Gosiankunda and the District Public Health Office at Lauri Binayak on Sunday while the Arhidaman Battalion of the Nepalese Army is setting up its own at Cholangpati from Tuesday.

Similarly, Nepal Red Cross Society, Rasuwa has also mobilized its health volunteers for setting up health camps at Chandanbari and Buddha Mandir Danda for providing primary health services to the pilgrims visiting Gosainkunda on the occasion of Janai Purnima festival, which is on the threshold.
