The national news agency quoted Kandhar-based Nepali worker Sadhu Ram Thapa as saying that four Nepalis, who were working for a company named Supreme Fuel, were killed when the helicopter ferrying them along with civilian contractors and supplies to a military outpost crashed.
However, the new agency said names and addresses of the deceased Nepalis have not been confirmed.
Two more Nepalis inside the helicopter managed to jump off before the copter crashed, sustaining injuries and are undergoing treatment at a local hospital, Thapa is quoted to have said.
According to other media reports, no military personnel were injured or killed in the accident.
