The UCPN (Maoist) central committee (CC) meeting called for Monday afternoon has been deferred again for Tuesday.

The party put off the meeting citing lack of preparation and the homework for holding discussion on the political document tabled by chairman Puspha Kamal Dahal.

Expected to discuss and reduce internal rift, the CC meet was to take place at 3 pm at the party headquarters, Paris Danda.

The party's top leadership has put off the CC meeting numerous times owing to internal rift with vice chairman-duo Mohan Baidya and Baburam Bhattarai stepping up pressure on Dahal for power sharing in the party. nepalnews.com
