Five Nepalis have been arrested in Singapore along with three South Korean Nationals Sunday morning while attempting to smuggle drugs to Australia, Channel News Asia reported.
A joint team of Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), Singapore and the Singaporean Police Intelligence Department (PID) officers arrested the five Nepali nationals after they discovered about 2 kg of Heroin No.4 in the shoes of three South Korean at Changi Airport.
The arrested could face death penalty if convicted, the report says. nepalnews.com
