Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai moved to his official residence in Baluwatar Tuesday evening.
Baluwatar officials welcomed him when he arrived at his official abode with his family members. Bhattarai had been staying at a rented apartment in Lalitpur.
Unlike his predecessor Jhala Nath Khanal, Prime Minister Bhattarai did not organise by religious ceremony while entering Balutawar, sources said.
