In the meeting, majority of the members is learnt to have presented their views in favour of calling back minister Bhandari from the government.

The opposition parties- Nepali Congress and CPN-UML - have been obstructing the legislature parliament demanding his resignation for publicly making controversial remarks on the possible disintegration of the country if 22 districts of Terai decide to secede.

Responding to the pressure from the NC and the UML, Minister for Land Reform Prabhu Sah, who has been accused of plotting the murder of Kashi Ram Tiwari, the then president of Hindu Yuwa Sangh in Birgunj, 15 months ago, has already resigned from the post. After his resignation, MJF-Loktantrik has been facing moral pressure to call the Defence Minister Bhandari back from the government. nepalnews.com
