Talking to government employees in Khotang on Saturday morning, Shrestha said talks are underway with leaders of Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) to concentrate on the constitution writing process.
Notwithstanding the fact that his party is currently out in the streets with slogans to topple the current government, Shrestha underlined the importance of cooperation and consensus among the big political forces. Failing to write statute on time will invite disaster, he said, and urged the government employees not to let Nepal turn into a failed state.
He further said as the country has gained unprecedented achievements following the 12-point agreement, it was on part of the government employees to ensure people feel the change of regime from monarchy to republic. nepalnews.com
