UCPN (Maoist) Secretary C.P Gajurel on Saturday said his party will not return seized land as the decision towards that end was not an official party decision.

He said the decision to return seized land was a personal decision taken by party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and that the party doesn't abide by personal decisions.

Gajurel, who is from the hardliner Baidya faction, further stated that activists of his faction would recapture the seized land if it is returned forcibly.

The Baidya faction leaders have issued a directive not to sell or buy the seized lands, stating that they would not abide by the decree of party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai in this matter.

"The seized land will not be returned until the government introduces revolutionary land reforms," said Ganesh Aryal of the faction. He said that the faction has formally decided not to return the seized land. nepalnews.com
