UCPN (Maoist) party secretary C.P Gajurel on Tuesday said that the party has already split internally and that only the formal announcement is yet to be made.
Speaking at a programme in his home district Sindhuli, Gajurel said that the Baidya faction was not ready to bear with the party establishment as it continues to ignore dissident voices. He also said vice chairman Mohan Baidya will head the ‘new party’.
The hardliner Maoist leader said there are two blocs in the party – the revolutionaries and the ‘pro-Baluwatar’ bloc. He said the UCPN (Maoist) will in fact divide into four parties when it actually splits.
Gajurel also said that the Baburam Bhattarai-led government is acting like a foreign puppet, especially that of India. nepalnews.com
