The former chairman of the student union of the UCPN (Maoist)- All Nepal National Independent Student Union- Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) Lekhanath Neupane has announced that he will quit the Maoist party.
Accusing the leaders of his own party of giving up the agendas of the people at the behest of the foreigners, he said that he decided to quit the party as the leaders led the party towards downfall.
Speaking at a press conference organised in Bargachhi of Biratnagar, Neupane also hinted to establish a new communist party.
“New communist party is needed as one in the party can buy helicopter while the other even cannot afford even the bus fare," he added. Nepalnews.com
