Public Opinion Collection and Coordination Committee under the Constituent Assembly has planned to make available the first draft of the constitution to the 6.4 million households by publishing it in the national dailies and printing the booklets.

In the discussion with the representatives of various media organisation organised by the Committee to receive the feedback, the Committee chairman Pramod Prasad Gupta said that informing public through the media will help make opinion collection more effective.

“A part from printing the draft in the newspapers, we have also planned to publish some 6.4 million copies of the booklets containing the draft to dispatch to all the households across the nation,” he said.

The constitution writing calendar aims to bring the draft of the new constitution to the public in between March 6 to 28. nepalnews.com
