The Constitutional Committee (CC) has approved the name of the body of lower House as the legislature parliament.

In the CC meeting held at Singha Durbar Tuesday, the leaders agreed to incorporate the phrase “legislature parliament” for lower legislature body.

Similarly, the meeting also approved the name “federal Assembly” to denote the body of the federal legislature in the new constitution.

Earlier, the sub-committee under the Constitutional Committee (CC) formed to narrow down differences among political parties had agreed to have a bicameral legislature at the centre.
