Sunday’s meeting of the legislature parliament was put off due to the absence of all the ministers.
Speaker Subas Nemwang announced House deferral after the leaders of the opposition parties- Nepali Congress and CPN-UML criticised the government for not having representation in the House.
NC lawmaker Ramesh Lekhak said ironically that the government was boycotting the House. He also demanded resignation of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai for irresponsible conduct of the ministers in his cabinet.
Similarly, UML lawmaker Pradeep Gyawali said that the government disrespected the parliament by ‘boycotting’ the House.
The cabinet led by PM Bhattarai consists of 49 members which is the biggest in the history of country. Nepalnews.com
