Valley bandh called by various student unions to protest against the recent government decision to hike prices of petroleum products on Wednesday also affected the constitution drafting process as the meeting of the Constitutional Committee (CC) scheduled for today could not be held.
The meeting was scheduled to discuss the contentious issues resolved by the CC's dispute resolution Sub-Committee. The meeting was put off citing inability of its members to attend the meeting due to the Valley bandh.
According to CC member Laxman Lal Karna, the next meeting will take place at 9.00 am on 27 January. nepalnews.com
