Nepali Congress central committee member Ram Sharan Mahat has said that the issue of state restructuring, mainly the federalism can be determined even after promulgating the new constitution by May 28.
Speaking at a programme organised by Press Union Baglung chapter on Sunday, leader Mahat said that constitution can be promulgated putting on hold the disputed issues if they are not resolved immediately.
“Federalism is a complicated issue. So, this issue should not be dealt in haste,” Mahat added.
He also said that the State Restructuring Commission’s reports was politically influenced.
Mahat also accused the Maoist party of hindering peace and constitution drafting process by stepping back from the seven-point agreement. nepalnews.com
