Director of the Asia-Pacific Division of the United Nations Department of Political Affairs (DPA) Tamrat Samuel on Sunday met Chief of Army Staff General Chhatraman Singh Gurung.
During the meeting held at Nepal Army (NA) Headquarters, Tamrat inquired about the ongoing army integration process, said a press release issued by NA Directorate of Public Relations.
Tamrat, who arrived in Nepal on Friday, has already met senior political party leaders including Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and UML chairman Jhala Nath Khanal, discussing mainly the peace process and the constitution-drafting. nepalnews.com
