Nepali Congress president Sushil Koirala Wednesday said that Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai should resign from the post if he fails to conclude peace process within a month.

Nepali Congress president Sushil KoiralaSpeaking at a programme in Kathmandu, he also accused PM Bhattarai of delaying to conclude peace process to prolong his prime ministerial tenure.

“Continuity of this government is not acceptable for Nepali Congress if PM tries to prolong his tenure by delaying to conclude peace process,” the NC leader added. “He should resign if he is unable to carry out his job.”

He also blamed that the Maoist party obstructed process of integrating the combatants into Nepal Army by raising new dispute of rank at a time of discharging the combatants choosing voluntary retirement from the cantonments. nepalnews.com
