Central Committee members of the CPN-UML have started discussions on the political report presented by party chairman Jhala Nath Khanal and reports on state restructuring submitted party’s Federal Affairs Department from Thursday in Central Committee (CC) meeting being held at party headquarters in Balkhu.

On Wednesday, chairman Khanal had presented his political report stressing on the need for formation of the national consensus government with the conclusion that the existing government led by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai who is also the vice chairman of the UCPN (Moist) failed to address the problems facing the country.
