Cases of kidnapping and abduction are rife in Siraha district, RSS reports Of late, a person has been abducted by an unidentified group from Siraha on Monday.
It is reported that an unknown group has kidnapped Deependra Chaudhary (28), aka, Deeppu of Gamhariya Maheshpur-9 in Siraha district.
He was kidnapped by the group while returning home after shutting down his shop at Ghurami Chowk on Monday evening, informed Bechu Chaudhary, father of Deependra.
The kidnappers also took away the motorbike he was riding, Bechu further informed, adding the abductors had demanded ransom worth Rs. 2.5 million over the mobile of his son.
Meanwhile, Chaudhary has urged human rights activists, media persons and police administration to take initiatives for the safe and unconditional release of his son. nepalnews.com
