Exam Controllers' Office, Sanothimi, has fixed 1,748 exam centers across the country for this year's SLC examinations which is scheduled to begin on March 2O.

Deputy controller of the Office, Ambika Prasad Regmi told RSS that 528,257 students are attending the exams.

Regmi said the exam centers have been fixed making convenience to the students of remote and urban areas. The office claimed that the distance for exam centers will not be that far like in previous years.

Last year, 1,672 exam centers were fixed for 496,243 students. The office has managed 76 more exam centers for this year compared to last year.

Likewise, the office has withheld the exam forms that were filled from other districts by skipping the schools concerned.

Regmi said the office took a decision to this effect as some students from the urban districts were attending the exams by going in the remote districts.

The exam firms of 30 examinees filled from Buddha Secondary School, Solukhumbu, have been withheld, the office confirmed. nepalnews.com
