Mobility of saints and sages coming from various parts of the country, and abroad is visible at Pashupati area when the Mahashivaratri is on the threshold, RSS reports.
The movement of saints and Hindu devotees has increased in the sacred religious site as the day of Shivaratri (special worship to Lord Shiva) this year falls on Monday.
Monday is deemed the special day to offer prayers to Lord Shiva.
Around 8,000 sages, saints and naked babas have so far arrived at the Pashupati area from various parts of the country and different Indian provinces, Treasurer of the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT), Narottam Baidhya told RSS.
Lodging and food accommodation has been arranged for the saints and sages arriving from various place with the assistance of different religious trusts, guthis and various organizations. nepalnews.com
