The 17th international conference of the Nepal English Language Teachers Association (NELTA) is taking place in Chitwan from Feb 22-23.
The first phase of the conference was convened in Kathmandu on Feb 18, while its second phase will take place in Chitwan.
Altogether 90 working papers will be presented in the conference, which will be attended by 65 representatives from 17 countries and a group of Nepali experts, Chairperson of NELTA Chitwan Chapter Batuk Lal Tamang told RSS.
The conference will offer opportunity to exchange experience about English language teaching methods across the world.
As many as 600 persons including English teachers from pre-primary to University level and those passing Bachelors' and Masters' Degree in English will participate in the event, he further informed.
The 15th conference was held in Kathmandu and Surkhet and 16th in Kathmandu and Pokhara while it is to be held in Chitwan for the first time. nepalnews.com
