Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-Nepal) Tuesday padlocked the Office of Kathmandu Metropolitan city demanding election at the local bodies.
Addressing a corner meeting after padlocking the metropolis office, chairman of the party Kamal Thapa demanded holding of elections at the local bodies at the earliest. Saying that people were facing problems due to the absence elected representatives, the pro-monarch leader also accused political leaders of getting engaged in fulfilling personal interest.
He also accused the Maoist party –led government of undermining history of democracy by breaking the tradition of organising formal programme on the democracy day. nepalnew.com
