The CPN (United) has withdrawn the moral support it had given to the Baburam Bhattarai government.
CPN (U) chairman Chandra Dev Joshi speaking at a press conference in the capital Wednesday said the party decided to withdraw support as the government had failed to take the peace process and constitution-drafting forward and it also performed dismally when it came to controlling corruption and rising price hike in commodities and maintain law and order.
He also accused the government of focusing only on prolonging its life by turning a blind eye towards wayward behavior of its ministers, especially some Madhesi ministers who have issued 'secessionist' warnings.
The CPN (U) has five lawmakers in the parliament. nepalnews.com
