Minister for Commerce and Supply Lekhraj Bhatta has accused petroleum entrepreneurs of getting involved in black marketing by creating artificial shortage of fuels.
Speaking at a programme in Kathmandu, minister Bhatta also claimed that Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) was supplying enough fuels in the market.
“NOC has been supplying diesel, petrol, kerosene and cooking gas in substantial volume but entrepreneurs are creating artificial shortage,” he added.
He also said that LPG gas stations were found to have hidden gas cylinders to create shortage during monitoring.
Minister Bhatta also warned of strong action against the entrepreneurs getting involved in black marketing. nepalnews.com
